Mark this on your calendars: This coming Monday, June 3, Pastor Bob Boehr will once again be leading his Engaging Each Other Workshop in the banquet room at 7pm, in case you missed the first run-through of the workshop held here on April 27, or if you simply want to experience it again. It will be held this time around in two parts, on June 3 and June 17, also at 7pm. This workshop seeks to create a framework to help understand some underlying reasons why we disagree with each other with the hope that we can use this framework to engage each other in healthy conversations around sometimes controversial issues. Check out page four of the latest newsletter for a sneak peek of some of the content you’ll be engaging with!
Hope you can also join us this Sunday as Arny Froese takes us through Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 in his sermon on “The Parable of the Wheat and Weeds.” Service is at 10:30am, with Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am. Mike Ayers will be continuing his series on “Faith, Family, and Relationships” in the adult education session.
