From Pastor Bob Boehr:
“We continue to look into the passages in the New Testament that talk about how we are to treat one another within the church. This past Sunday we looked into the letter to the churches in Galatia. Those in the church had found freedom in Christ from their old life through keeping in step with the Holy Spirit. Now that freedom was being threatened by Jewish followers who were adding rules and rituals to ensure they were staying on track. Paul writes that freedom in the Spirit includes the freedom to serve one another and carry one another’s burdens. It does not look like biting or devouring each other or provoking or envying each other. We should see the fruits of the Spirit in our interactions with one another. That is what keeping in step with the Spirit looks like.”
