  • MAY 23, 2:30PM: Webinar with Eddie Gardner, President of the Wild Salmon Defender’s Alliance. Eddie will talk about fish farms and the threat that the TMX pipeline has on climate change and migration routes of wild salmon.   • MAY 27, 4PM PST: Mennonite Church USA Webinar. Join Bonita Croyle of MC USA’s Women in Leadership steering committee for an introductory panel discussion about Laboring Toward Wholeness, MC USA’s new Bible-based curriculum on dismantling patriarchy. Croyle will be joined by the writers of the curriculum, who will share highlights and personal insights. The curriculum addresses the history and impact of systemic patriarchy – and looks at how God calls us to respond through an intersectional lens. Register HERE.

  • MAY 28-30: 6th annual Walk in the Spirit of Reconciliation! This event is open to everyone. This year’s walk will again be self-guided. Maps will be provided and you can walk at whatever time works best for you on one or more of the 3 event days. Join us as we walk as individuals or in our family groups in lament and solidarity of our First Nations brothers and sisters, remembering the traumatic harm done by residential schools for so many generations.   • WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16, 7-8:30PM: Congregations and the Pandemic: An Interactive Online Session with Dr. Joel Thiessen (Ambrose University), Sociologist of Religion. COVID-19 has both stunted and aided congregational flourishing in a variety of ways. In this interactive online session we will briefly explore some foundational elements to a flourishing congregation, before interacting with data on the complex interplay between the pandemic and religious and congregational life. We will give particular attention to questions, issues, and prospects that congregations might wish to give attention to upon resuming more “regular” in-person ministry activities.Presented by Mennonite Faith and Learning Society.
