Connection Groups help people get connected in a variety of ways through fellowship, Bible study, food, service, recreation, and fun activities. To join a group or start a new one, please contact office@emmanuelmennonite.com. For groups that meet at the church, please check our Emmanuel calendar for meeting times.
Adult Fellowship
We typically meet on the 4th Sunday of every month for a potluck dinner, table games, and fellowship.
Care Group
We are a group of people muddling through midlife, dealing with aging parents and young adult children. We meet in homes weekly for supper.
Christianity and the Arts
We normally meet in homes on the first Sunday of the month at 5pm for a potluck and discussion to explore the relationship of Christianity and various forms of art: music, plays, literature, fabric arts, painting, etc. Sometimes we attend plays, musical concerts, go to The Reach or other galleries, or do other arts related things.
Craft Night
We meet every other Thursday at the church to try our hand at different hands-on crafts, while enjoying fellowship with each other!
EMC Book Club
We are a book club meeting in homes to discuss books on Theology, the Bible or Spirituality that are new to our church library.
Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Builders are a Bible study group that meets every second Thursday 9:30am-11:00am in the banquet room at the church.
Women’s Fellowship Blanket-Making
We meet from 9am-noon every other Tuesday. Over the years, this group has completed over 3000 blankets that are being used for relief all over the world. We also share a devotional and coffee time together. New members are welcome.
Women’s Fellowship
We meet every second Tuesday (alternating with the Blanket making group), 9:30-11am in the fireside room. Our emphasis is on fellowship, prayer (both local and overseas needs) and from time to time have guest speakers.
Yoga as Prayer
We meet on the first Thursday of every month for an hour of yoga: prayer with body, mind, and spirit. This year we are exploring the principles of yoga and how they align with the teachings of Jesus.
